How the library works
What is Vibe Coding Library?
A public, read-only MCP library with 241 engineering workflows. MCP-compatible coding agents search with search_workflows and retrieve selected guidance with get_workflow. Codex and Claude Code have ready-made plugin setups; other agents can connect to the same endpoint.
Which agents can connect?
Use a coding agent or client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP. Add the public endpoint with authentication set to none. The library does not require its own API key. Your agent or model provider may have separate setup requirements.
What do the two tools do?
search_workflows returns workflow titles, summaries and stable IDs. get_workflow loads the guidance for the selected workflow step. Your coding agent applies it with its own project tools and keeps the context needed for later steps.
Which languages are supported?
The website, catalog metadata and prompts support English, Spanish, Russian and Simplified Chinese. Technical instructions remain in English. Ask your agent to respond in your language.
Does the service need an account or API key?
No. The public MCP endpoint uses Streamable HTTP without authentication. It needs an internet connection and returns public instructions. It cannot read or edit your repository. Your agent and model provider manage their own accounts and keys.
Can I use the full library offline?
Yes. The original Vibe Coding plugin is a separate optional distribution for Codex and Claude Code, with 46 local skills and all 241 workflows. Its native commands differ from the universal MCP connection.
